I put my nose to the neck of the polo mare and take in a deep breathe.
It’s the best smell in the world.
Then I jump up, put my left leg into the stir up and swing over my right leg and sit down in the saddle.
With the reins in my right hand I stare left and then straight and riding through the gates into the countryside outside of Pilar in the province of Buenos Aires I feel excited and relaxed at the same time.
