Jealousy

I find jealousy so interesting I tell her

and she agrees

and then I think of the jealous men I’ve known

and why they behaved like they did

but after a while I realise that that’s not what

I find fascinating

men that want to be in control

of things they have no entitlement to rule

but what intrigues me

is those times I have felt possessive

When I think of it

I still see you as mine
