What is that worth?
When the society can’t even take care of its own people?
And cover for any human’s basic need
To be treated with respect
In the American Dream
the Afro American community
have to spell out that black lives matter
Because it’s not a given
In a nation built on
the superior mindset of (us) Europeans
Who thought they (we) could take what was not theirs (ours)
The land from the Native Americans
Black people from Africa
Turning them into slaves
What is it with us human beings,
so consistently putting ourselves above others?
Committing atrocities to one another
