We went to Praia Do Espelho on a bumpy road with lots of pot holes from Trancoso. Arrived and it was less deserted than we thought. Why does everyone says it’s so special we asked ourselves and it was not until the tour groups had left at around 3.30pm and we walked towards the cliffs we saw the magic in this place. So eager to capture it with our phones we failed every time – we have no pictures that do the black sand, the blue sea and the terracotta coloured cliffs justice.
On the way back we saw the young kids practicing capoeira in front of the church and stopped the car. We even got to be in the group photo, although not showing here.
End of the week I’m heading back to São Paulo but what a beautiful time I had in Bahia. So sad to leave.
