Fátima, Jennifer and I spend a whole day looking at fruit at Pinheiros market, eating pizza and chatting about boys. Others too preoccupied with work or everyday life has not showed up and I’ve come to understand the difference between a traveller’s mindset and someone not willing to explore. How easy we get caught in commitments we think matter whilst spontaneity, cultural exchanges and new people are just waiting around the corner.
