“So maybe it’s not about the country or the job, maybe it’s just about you.”
I changed all the things I could. I moved 12 553 kilometres to make my life richer, more spontaneous, more filled with sparkly moments and tingly feelings. Like a change of environment would change everything; my emotions, my thoughts, my habits, the data my DNA is filled with, my mood.
I know it’s true what my friend just said, but my thoughts are like a record on repeat and I’m incapable of changing the track.
And you know what the saddest part is? When you let your thoughts take charge of your life, as if they knew what they were doing. To let them handcuff you, when you’re in a country filled with horses, mountains and rivers and people who call you linda in the verdulerías.
