We live in a violent world. Travelling it can either be a great reminder of this or just a complete escape. Today I came accross this piece I wrote on one of my best friends Anja Kresojevic and how she and her family fled from the war in Jugoslavia in 1992. It made me think of all the people who have to flee from their homes in Syria and now Iraq.
