OMG! Scallops are my absolute favourite type of food. I’ve had them at Michelin star restaurants in London, at a cosy pub in Stromness, fried in Hobart and home-cooked with pan-fried bacon in St Leonards.
Guess my excitment when I came across this – a whole week dedicated to Scallops. Rye is a quaint little town, spent a day there strolling around the cobble-stoned streets last year. So if you have the chance, don’t miss out and head to Rye next weekend.
