We go to the natural pools

when the rain

Is pouring down

I take off my Havaianas

and we climb the rocks

and find our own path

To the rock pool

Watch the waves

and the sea

She’s rough today

There are no boats going

To Bonete and Castelhanos

for a couple of days

and to the rock pools

most people go when it’s sunny

And the sea is calm

But today it’s cloudy

and wet and the sea is rough

But it’s beautiful

raw and windy

and I’m so glad I’m here on this day
